Two raccoons with distemper were found at Rosetta McClain Gardens in Scarborough in the past 2 weeks. One was in a low lying tree near the fountain, the other was in a window well of a house that backs on to the park.
Other dog walkers in the GTA are also reporting raccoons with distemper.
Keep your dogs on leash in the bluffs areas and if you see a raccoon acting oddly, contact Toronto Animal Services immediately at (416)338-7297.
I will be using this blog to let clients know about pet related events happening in and around my service area, and also to notify them of when I won't be available for pet sitting and dog walking.
Please note, I take care of pets in their home. I do not take animals into my home.

Pills found in Toronto off leash park
Beware, if you let your dog off leash, it looks like we have another sicko on our hands. Pills were found at the off leash park at Allan Gardens.
